I just moved this blog/website from a different platform, welcome!

I write about (mostly) history as seen through art, and how cultural events have/continue to impact art. Art is uniquely human, and therefore by analyzing artistic developments, it is possible to find answers to the question of the human condition.

I will upload old pieces as quickly as possible, and have already began writing new pieces.

If anyone reads this, please feel free to reply with a specific time period, movement in history/art history, or opinion you want to learn about.

Mostly, this is a record of creative movements throughout the course of humanity that have peaked my interest.
